«Preguntas Hermosas» is a story about a time that was shared between two people, told through a combination of “Poema X” by Pablo Neruda and “Under the Harvest Moon” by Carl Sandburg. It unfolds in three parts; a fond remembrance, loss, and then finally acceptance.
Shibuya is famous for its scramble crossing. It is located in front of the Shibuya Station Hachikō exit and stops vehicles in all directions to allow pedestrians to inundate the entire intersection. Three large TV screens mounted on nearby buildings overlook the crossing. The Starbucks store overlooking the crossing is also one of the busiest in the world.
There are 6 Sumo tournaments every year each one lasting 15 days, 1 in Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka and 3 in Tokyo where this panorama was taken on day 13 of the May competition. Ryogoku is the area of Tokyo and Kokugikan is the name of the building.
At these Sumo tournaments there are many diffents levels of competition with the lower ranks starting from around 12 pm, the professional division called the Makuuchi start from around 4 pm. This panorama was the second last bout of the Juryo division ( just before the Makkuchi division ) one of the great things about arriving early is that you can wander around the Kokugikan and take a close look at the ring and watch some bouts from an empty seat as many people only arrive to watch the Makkuchi division from 4 - 5 pm. My seat was up on the 2nd floor. The two Sumo wrestlers ( Rikishi ) in this panorama are just about to fight, when both Rikishi touch the ground with there hands at the same time they then charge into each other and it is GAME ON - first Rikishi to either step out of the ring ( Douhyo ) or touch the ground inside the ring is the loser. Above the seats on the 2nd floor you can see portraits of past tournament winners.
Truckers Delight animated video clip directed by newcomer wunderkid Jérémie Perin (Premiere Heure) who takes the song’s title (a tribute to those little pleasures that the lonely truck- driver indulges himself in) and takes it to the next level. Think Spielberg’s Duel + Russ Meyer’s Faster Pussycat Kill Kill! and Marc Dorcel’s wildest fantasies. All warped into an 8-bit Sega era style graphic. And this clumsy and somehow pretentious description doesn’t even come close to what you’re about to see: it’s très funny,très dirty, -très sexy. Très Flairs indeed.
This is production footage shooted last summer for the debut film, “TimeScapes,” a modern portrait of the American Southwest. Canon and Red MX cameras were used for this film.
I wanna be your only man
Don’t wanna see you with no other man
Now, just me! Only me .. ooh
I wanna be your only man
Don’t wanna see you with no other man
Now, just me! Only me
I see a sunbeam comin down
I know it’s you by your footsteps on the ground
(repeat)
I wanna be your only man
Don’t wanna see you with no other man
Now, just me! Only me
TRON: LEGACY is a 3D action-packed adventure set in a digital world unlike anything captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), a rebellious 27-year-old, is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father Kevin Flynn (Oscar®- and Golden Globe®-winner Jeff Bridges), a man once known as the world’s leading video-game developer. When Sam investigates a strange signal sent from the abandoned Flynn’s Arcade — that could have only come from his father — he finds himself pulled into a world where Kevin has been trapped for 20 years. With the help of the fearless warrior Quorra (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-or-death journey across a visually-stunning digital universe — created by Kevin himself — which has become far more advanced with never-before-imagined vehicles, weapons, and landscapes and a ruthless villain who will stop at nothing to prevent their escape.
